JCSD Policy

1. The administrative council shall select a photographer to provide photography service for students K-12, exclusively and student body cards and yearbook pictures for secondary students.

2. Secondary school principals may select a photographer(s) to provide activity and athletics photographs for individual students and yearbooks as needed.

3. School premises shall be used for photographers to take pictures of students and staff only. Non-students shall be excluded.

4. Whenever an existing photography agreement expires, the administration shall provide an opportunity for any interested photographers to submit an application as provider for that service.

5. The administration retains the right in all instances to specify acceptable criteria for photography services. All services shall be annually reviewed with the option to cancel being a part of any multi-year agreement. Included in the criteria to be considered are: quality, costs, program management, delivery, retake policies, flexibility and client satisfaction.
