Crisis Intervention and Response *
The Board directs that rules and procedures be developed to deal with the special needs of students, staff and parents during and following a crisis situation. In addition to district procedures, each principal shall develop emergency response plans in conjunction with the building staff.
The superintendent is authorized to allow staff members to respond to crisis at other school districts or for other agencies. Such responses shall be limited to those that include an official request from the agency or school to the superintendent. Reimbursement of district expenses shall be a consideration in determining whether to grant the request.
