Motor Vehicles
The rules and regulations to cover the use of vehicles on school property are as follows:
1. No student motor vehicles will be permitted to leave the school grounds during the hours in which school is in session without the permission of the school building administrator;
2. Student drivers of motor vehicles that are improperly parked or parked in an unauthorized place may be subject to disciplinary action or their vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense;
3. No student is to be in a parked car during the scheduled school day.
The following additional rules are to be posted and enforced in accordance with ORS 332.445:
1. Permission to use vehicles on school property is revocable at any time;
2. Parking adjacent to yellow painted curbs is prohibited;
3. Where there are marked spaces for parking, vehicles must park between the lines;
4. Students may not park in spaces reserved for Staff or Visitors;
5. Only handicapped persons may use areas designated for handicapped parking;
6. All motor bikes and motorcycles shall be parked in designated areas;
7. Speed limit is 5 miles per hour on school property;
8. State and city traffic laws must be obeyed.
Violators may have their vehicle towed at their expense, may be fined according to law, or both.
