Admission of Part-Time Private School Students
Schools may accept part-time students from home school or parochial schools when the following criteria are met:
1. The student is a resident of Jefferson County School District 509-J;
2. The student makes timely application to the appropriate building principal prior to the beginning of any semester and provides the same required admission data as any public school student;
3. The student submits to Board policy and school rules;
4. The student uses safe transportation between schools and agrees to hold the district harmless for any injury incurred while moving between schools;
5. Guidelines governing dual enrollment are as follows:
Transfer of credit from parochial/private school attendance to public school must comply with public school standards and Oregon Administrative Rule 581-021-0210.
