School Attendance Areas
Â
Attendance areas are established by the administration and approved by the Board for all elementary, middle school and high school buildings in the district. Boundaries are set for attendance areas so that students can be given the best possible education.
Defined attendance areas reduce overcrowding in one building to provide fuller use of space and personnel in another building. The superintendent’s designee is directed to monitor student flow into and out of all buildings, and to make adjustments as determined. All changes in school attendance areas should benefit the students, and the total school program educationally.
