Grading System Reporting

 

Purpose

The purpose of grading student performance is to provide a report to both parents/guardians and students of progress toward expected learning outcomes.. .

Teacher Expectation

Teachers will establish and maintain clear and systematic grading criteria and communicate the criteria to parents/guardian and students.

Report cards will be issued in accordance with the district calendar.

Teachers will maintain accurate records on a regular basis.

Teachers shall notify parent/guardian and student whenever there is a significant drop in student performance or the student’s performance is below average.

Parent Conference

Parent conferences will be held according to the school calendar, at which time teachers will review student progress.

Special Education Progress Reporting

Student’s progress toward individual education plan (IEP) goals shall be reported to parents/guardian as often as progress is reported to parents/guardian of non-disabled peers.
