Parent Notification Regarding the Talented and Gifted Program (T.A.G.)
Parents of all identified T.A.G. students shall be annually notified of their opportunity to provide input to and discuss with the District the programs and services to be received by their child. Parents shall also be advised of their right to:
withdraw their child from TAG services at any time, and
to file a complaint under policy KL.
Time Line: Annual identification procedures shall be on-going and completed within 30 school days of referral to the district TAG specialist.
