Rules
The council may declare a membership vacancy in any position due to two consecutive, unexcused absences, and may ask the Board to appoint a new member.
Terms of Office
Positions #1 and #2( Director of curriculum and instruction and school improvement specialist) serve permanently.
Position #3 (administrator) appointed by the administrative council; serves a two-year term.
Positions #4 through #6 (teachers) appointed by administrative council; serve three-year overlapping, rotating terms; initial terms drawn by lot.
Position #8 (tribal education representative) appointed by the Board ; serves a three-year term.
Position #9 through #11 (parent not a teacher) appointed by the Board; serve a one-year term.
