The Board recognizes the need to employ substitute classified workers from time to time to ensure orderly completion of normal duties and responsibilities and hereby authorizes the employment of substitute workers. Substitutes are governed by all the policies and rules of the district while on duty. However, the irregular nature of substituting may create the need for certain special rules and regulations. The Board authorizes the administration to develop and enforce rules that apply to qualifications, application procedures, selection list, and payment.
