Recruitment of Classified Staff
The superintendent will develop and maintain a recruitment program designed to attract classified personnel to the district.
It is the responsibility of the superintendent, with the assistance of other district administrators determine the district’s personnel needs and to locate the most suitably qualified candidates to recommend for support staff positions as they become available. The superintendent or his/her designee is responsible for the recruitment, selection and hiring process;
The search for classified staff members may extend to a wide variety of educational institutions and geographical areas. Those factors considered will include, but not be limited to, the district’s diverse characteristics.
There shall be no discrimination in the hiring process due to race, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital or parental status or disability;
Present employees are encouraged to apply for any position. All candidates must submit an application. Finalists will have a personal interview and references checked before being hired.
