The Board recognizes the value of cooperating with college teacher preparation programs in providing student teaching experiences under the guidance of experienced personnel. Therefore, the district may therefore, cooperate with institutions that have approved teacher preparation programs to provide education students with student teaching activities. District participation in such programs shall assure that all decisions as to the placement of education students and the continuance of training programs are determined by the educational interests of students and district programs affected. Responsibility and authority for establishing cooperative relationships with institutions with teacher training programs and decisions relating to such programs operating in the district shall reside with the superintendent or their designee.
