The Board believes that the professional staff must constantly and continually grow in teaching skill. Through understanding of recent educational research, knowledge of advancements in learning theory, and practice in promising teaching techniques, teachers can enhance their effectiveness.
Believing in professional growth through staff development, the Board will support learning activities for teachers and authorize staff development as a prominent part of the district’s program.
The Board authorizes the administration to develop rules and procedures for professional growth and staff development.
