JCSD Policy

To maintain safety and security, the Board declares that all buildings will be closed to the staff, students, and public for the period between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. each day. Assigned district personnel are authorized to occupy the buildings during the closed period to perform normal and/or emergency duties. Any person or organization requiring use of building during the closed period must have specific approval from the Auxiliary Services Director prior to the use. The Board requires that a written record of all authorized exceptions be maintained at the district office.

This policy will be strictly enforced. Violation will be considered a trespass.

The hours of the closed period shall be posted in each district building. This policy shall be included in student and faculty handbooks.
