Property Inventories
The Board recognizes the importance of maintaining inventory of public property and directs the superintendent to maintain accurate, current records of all fixed assets. The superintendent shall also create a system of accounting for school supplies and equipment to maintain appropriate insurance coverage and to minimize the effects of loss or damage.
The board may authorize the employment of an appraisal company to assist with the inventory procedure.
