Revenues from Private, State and Federal Sources
The Board's objective is to provide equal educational opportunities for all children.
The superintendent is therefore advised to review available funding sources and to apply for grants which will help the district provide enhanced educational opportunities.
All grant applications must have the written approval of the superintendent or the superintendent' s designee.
The superintendent shall periodically advise the Board of the district's eligibility for social programs and of those actions taken by district staff to secure such funds.
Whenever the district is notified of successful grant application, an acceptance resolution shall be presented for Board action. Special revenue funds shall be accounted for separately under the Governmental Funds Group (#200).
