Native American Education Program Grants

 

Pursuant to Title IX, Part A, of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the Board authorizes and directs the administration to establish procedures to ensure:

1. Application for funds as specified by Title IX, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and related federal rules and regulations;

2. Compliance with section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 relative to Indian preference;

3. Parent and community involvement in project planning, budgeting and evaluation;

4. Adherence to the requirements of Title IX and related rules and regulations.
