Administrator Compensation
The Board believes that district administrators should receive compensation. (The method of determining salary according to these factors shall be contained in the rules and procedures, and shall be reviewed annually for possible modification.)
The Board believes that, in addition to salary, other forms of compensation shall include district-paid insurance, PERS employee portion pick-up, tuition reimbursement, profession-related travel expenses, and payment of appropriate professional organization dues. Benefits will normally be in accord with those provided to other district employees, but shall not be limited by the provisions to other employees.
In determining the conditions and compensation amounts, the Board desires administrator involvement, but reserves the sole right to make all compensation decisions. The method of determining salary and benefits shall be contained in the rules and regulations related to this policy.
